Escapees RV Club
Escapees RV Club was founded by Joe and Kay Peterson on July 4, 1978. Originally there was no detailed plan with five and ten year goals. They were simply two working travelers enthralled with the RV lifestyle who wanted to make RVing the best it could be for themselves, their friends, and fellow travelers. They even thought that “there might someday be a hundred---even two hundred---members!” not knowing that over 100,000 Escapees members would eventually join the club.
